Happy Easter and some other ideas

Hello all - a very Happy Easter to all of you. The most joyous time of the year for us Christians and I urge everyone to watch The Passion - it is an amazing testament to what Jesus gave up for us. I am humbled that he knowingly went to his crucifixtion to give our human race a chance to repent - I am thankful every time I realize how human I am that I am given chance after chance because of God's love for us, his children. I guess I am feeling compelled to share some ideas as I feel our world is in heavy moral, ethical and spiritual decline and I hope that everyone takes a moment to dwell on their spirituality and how we can become better people. A member of my tri club is an atheist - all the normal arguments - the church ruined me, how can God allow such pain - but after many months of consideration on my part, my response is: our most precious possessions are our innocence, our faith and love. These have been given to me by God with the expectation that I manifest those to the best of my (our ability) and that no mean person or amount of suffering will cause me to give up God and deny that it is my duty to share His love. I love everyone and miss you all.

And if you really want a sport that loves God, may I suggest Nascar - they still pray, in Jesus' name, at the beginning of every race. Refreshing!!
